How we calculate pricing for your recordings…
The price quote for your recording is fixed according to the unit used to measure duration of audio recording. The different units we consider are as follows:
1. Pricing based on per audio minute rate
The best feature of this unit of transcription cost is that one knows the price to be paid, even before the recording has actually been carried out.
- Transcription cost measured according to audio recording minute rate
- Available for recordings in minidiscs, digital audio and video.
- The audio recording should have clear audibility. Please make sure that the audio recording is indeed clear to hear, as we hold the right to reset the price quote if the audio quality was not found to be clear enough.
2. Pricing based on per audio hour rate
- This option is open for all non-digital (i.e. analog) recordings such as standard cassette tapes, microcassettes, minitapes and video tapes.
- Analog recordings won’t be measured in terms of per audio minute rate as the quality of the tape tends to vary.
